19 of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been won on hardcourt
A resurgent Medvedev claimed his maiden trophy for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has endured a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the Grand Slams and undergoing a meltdown at the American major.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in particular - led to him exiting of the top ten and eventually parting ways with former trainer Cervara.
Now collaborating with Johansson and Goetzke, he has steadily improved in the recent weeks - culminating in a hard-fought competitive win over opponent Moutet.
This marks his maiden championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface after March of 2023.
The win also signifies Medvedev has won 21 championships at 21 various competitions.
"For the first time I am participating in a event with my both daughters together, so to win a trophy is particularly special," said world number 14 Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had failed in his previous six finals, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
The player's retrieving play style and regular outbursts on the playing surface had led observers to doubt if his skill to play at the elite level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and play positively, backed up by an better serving game.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, winning four of the final five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players swapped break points in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden tour championship, took control to create a decider.
The opponent defended four early-game chances in a competitive deciding set before Medvedev won the break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Suitably, Medvedev clinched victory with a rally at the net, with his opponent unable to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
